Recap of Our Veterans Day Event - November 11, 2024

On Veterans Day, we had the honor of participating in a day dedicated to celebrating and supporting the brave men and women who have served our country. The event, held at Midland College, was a perfect blend of gratitude, community, and connection.

Event Highlights:

🇺🇸 5K Run (8:00 AM)
Runners of all ages came together for a spirited 5K, kicking off the day with energy and enthusiasm. It was incredible to see the community running side by side to honor our veterans.

🎖️ Veterans Day Ceremony & Cake (10:00 AM)
A touching ceremony reminded us of the sacrifices made by our veterans, followed by a time to connect over cake and shared stories.

🎉 Job Fair, Chili Feed & Petting Zoo (11:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
The event transitioned into a vibrant resource fair filled with opportunities for veterans and their families. A hearty chili feed, a delightful petting zoo, and engaging booths created a welcoming space for all.

💙 Our Role
Neighbors Eden Project was proud to stand alongside other community organizations to show our appreciation for our veterans. It was a privilege to be part of such an impactful day, and we’re already looking forward to next year!
